Brownies (7-12s Girls)
Posted by MikeJ
A chance for girls to get together and have fun. Brownie meetings are packed full of games, crafts and other activities, often ones that the
girls themselves have suggested. It gives them the opportunity to make new friends, learn new interests and begin their Brownie Adventures.
We aim at Brownies to give the girls more self confidence, help them develop existing and new talents and enable them to work well with other girls of different ages and from different backgrounds.
The programme is based around 3 areas:
Ourselves, The Community and The World.
When does it meet?
Mondays 6.45 pm - 8.00pm in Tynings Lane Church
Children's Football (6-12s)
Posted by MikeJ
The season is now over, but in the winter the Aldridge Churches junior Football Club meet every other Saturday morning at 10.00am in the parish rooms next to the Cooper and Jordan
School in Aldridge.
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 take part in organised football matches with the only requirement being that shin pads and football boots are worn at all times. A small amount of spare equipment is held by the club and available at each session.
The project is supported by adults from the churches who oversee the games, provide basic first aid support and refreshments during and after the games.
The club aims to offer the children of Aldridge the chances to participate in organised football matches, played in the true Christian spirit, and takes every opportunity to reach out into the local community with the gospel message. The project also provides an opportunity for those children already involved in some of the other church groups to join together in an activity and environment as ‘one church’ in Aldridge.
Other social activities are arranged from time to time to which all children and parents are invited.

Childrens Groups on Sunday
Posted by Admin
Tynings Lane Church welcomes children of all ages as important and valued members of our church family. The Children's Fellowship meets on a Sunday morning in the house next door to the church.
The children join with others of a similar age to learn more about
living for Jesus through a variety of interesting activities which include play, prayer, praise, bible stories, craft, games, discussions, music, videos etc.
Once a month we don't have facilities for chiuldren in the morning, but we join together at Sunday at 4pm to do church together. See the services page for when that will happen next.
We also have special events throughout the year such as Prizegiving, Sports Day, Light Party, Stars in their eyes
We would love your children to join us.
